Shop Hair Extensions by Type
Hair volumizers
Clip-in sets that add thickness through the length of your hair. The starting point if your hair feels flat, fine or thin rather than short.
Ponytail extensions
Wrap, claw-clip, string and back-clip ponytails for instant length in an updo. Wear them to work, to a wedding, or to the gym.
Clip in hair streaks
Single-clip coloured strands that give you highlights without bleach or dye. Blue, red, green, purple, burgundy and natural browns.
Clip in bangs
A fringe without the haircut. Wispy or dense, clipped in at the hairline and removed whenever you want.
Bun hair extensions
Messy buns, donut scrunchies and clip-on buns for a full juda — including grey, snow white and henna shades.
Semi permanent hair extensions
I-tip, U-tip and flat-tip strands fitted by a stylist and worn for weeks at a time. For length you don't think about every morning.
Dealing with thinning or hair loss rather than styling? Our hair toppers, patches and wigs are built for coverage.
Which Type Should You Choose?
Volumizers:- Thicker hair through the length
Ponytail extensions:- Longer hair for an updo or event
Hair streaks:- Colour without dye or bleach
Clip in bangs:- A fringe without cutting
Bun extensions:- A fuller bun or juda
Semi permanent extensions:- Length you wear every day
Toppers:- Coverage for thinning
Clip-In vs Semi Permanent Extensions
Almost every decision comes down to this one.
Clip-ins go in yourself in under a minute, come out at night, and cost less. Best if you wear extensions for occasions, you're new to them, or you want to test the look before committing.
Semi permanent extensions are fitted strand by strand at a salon and stay in for six to eight weeks between move-ups. Best if you wear extensions most days and want to wake up with the length already there.
Most women start with clip-ins and move to strand extensions once they know they'll wear them. That's the sensible order, and our post on clip-in versus permanent extensions covers the comparison in more detail.
Are Hair Extensions Safe for Indian Hair?
Yes, with two caveats that matter more here than in Western guides.
Weight, not method, causes most damage. Indian hair is typically dense but fine at the strand. Fine strands can't carry heavy extensions at the root regardless of how they're attached. Start conservative.
Oil is the complication nobody mentions. Regular oiling is normal in most Indian households, and oil weakens keratin bonds and makes micro rings slip. If you oil your hair, clip-ins are the safer choice, or keep oil strictly to the lengths and away from the roots.
Beyond that, damage from extensions is nearly always an application or aftercare failure rather than something inherent to the product. More in our guide on whether extensions damage natural hair.
How to Choose Your Shade
Match to the mid-lengths of your hair, not the roots. Roots are darker than the rest of your hair, and matching to them makes extensions look too dark against the hair they sit beside.
If you're between two shades, go slightly lighter. Marginally lighter reads as natural dimension; too dark reads as a hairpiece.
If your hair is hennaed, greying or white, most brands won't have your shade. We carry a henna-matched, grey blend and snow white option.
Send us a photo of your hair in natural daylight and we'll tell you which shade to order.
What Determines the Cost
Hair quality. Remy human hair with aligned cuticles costs more than non-Remy and lasts several times longer. Synthetic fibre is cheapest and survives the fewest wears.
Quantity. A single streak is a different purchase from a full clip-in set. Buy for the result you want, not the piece count.
Construction. Machine-wefted clip-ins are quicker to make than a hand-built scalp base or individually tipped strands, and priced accordingly.
Current pricing is on each product listing.
Caring for Your Extensions
- Sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner only
- Detangle from the ends up with a wide-tooth comb or loop brush
- Air dry flat wherever possible
- Heat protectant before any hot tool
- Store clip-ins flat in a satin pouch
- No oil near bonds, tape or clips
With proper care, human hair extensions last 6 to 12 months of regular wear, and considerably longer if you rotate pieces. See our care guide and our post on how long extensions last.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Are Hair Niche extensions real human hair?
Ans. Yes, 100% Remy human hair across the range, with cuticles aligned to prevent tangling. A small number of bun pieces use heat-friendly synthetic fibre — that's stated on the individual product page.
2. How long do hair extensions last?
Ans. 6 to 12 months with regular wear and proper care. Longer if you rotate between pieces or wear them occasionally.
3. Can I curl or straighten them?
Ans. Yes, with a heat protectant. Check the product page first if you're buying a bun piece, since synthetic fibre won't take heat.
4. Which extensions are best for thin hair?
Ans. Volumizers for everyday thickness, or toppers if you're covering a thinning parting. For strand extensions, I-tip puts the least stress on fine hair.
5. Do you offer shade matching?
Ans. Yes, free. Send a photo in natural daylight and we'll recommend a shade.
6. Can I colour the extensions?
Ans. Human hair pieces can be coloured, but have a stylist do it. Home dye on extensions usually ends badly.
7. Do you ship across India?
Ans. Yes, with free shipping above ₹2,000 and cash on delivery available.
8. Do you offer fitting?
Ans. Not in-house. For semi permanent extensions you'll need a stylist who fits strand extensions — message us if you need help finding one.
