Avoid rubbing or twisting the hair, as this can cause tangling. Rinse thoroughly with cool water until all shampoo is removed.
Conditioning: Apply a conditioner specifically designed for human hair to the topper's length and ends. Leave the conditioner on for a few minutes, then rinse with cool water.
Drying: Gently blot excess water from the topper using a clean, soft towel. Do not rub vigorously. Place the topper on the flat surface to air dry. Avoid using heat styling tools on the topper when it is wet, as this can damage the hair.
